We're Taking a Break for 2016
We want to thank the crowd of over 4,000 people who attended our 4th annual egg drop in 2015. The increased eggs, magic shows, more inflatables, carnival games, helicopter rides, fencing around the fields, and more concession vendors all added up to a great event. Because the available dates for 2016 would fall on Spring Break, it would make it next to impossible for us to host a well-run event. That along with the financial commitment it takes to put everything together, we've decided to take a break in 2016.
If we decide to host the Fayetteville Egg Drop in the future we will first need to secure additional financial sponsors and recruit more outside volunteers. But for 2016 we've decided to focus our community service efforts into other local projects, primarily ones that don't fall on Spring Break when many of our volunteer families are traveling. Check back Spring 2017 for an update on the Fayetteville Egg Drop. If your organization or business is interested in volunteering or becoming a sponsor for future Egg Drops, please contact us at email@example.com.
